Formed in 2002 and originally called "Gazette", the members were Ruki (vocals), Uruha (guitar), Aoi (guitar), Reita (bass), and Yune (drums). Yune, however, left the band in 2003, and was replaced by Kai (drums) immediately afterwards. They have recently changed their band name from "Gazette" to something with more pizazz: "The GazettE."
